To all who read these words, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Rt. Rev. Peter F. Manto
Bishop Ordinary

Welcome to the Diocese of the Central States of the Reformed Episcopal Church. We were officially established on January 1, 2008, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve God and His people in this corner of His vineyard, the states of Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

All of the resources available through this web site are intended for your use, and are freely available to the whole church, to all who love our Divine Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, for our common work to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

We pray that these humble resources may contribute towards the establishment of a strong sense of mutual identity and unity as Christians, following the Anglican traditions handed down to us through the English reformers and their successors, to the end that we may all be one, just as Jesus prayed in his high priestly prayer (John 17), “that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
