Dear Members of the Diocese of the Central States,
St. James Church in Memphis, TN, is looking forward to welcoming you back to the Mid-South for our annual synod (October 25-26, 2018). All business meetings and worship services will be held at the church. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Fogelman Executive Center which is about 5 minutes away. Our special room rate is $85 per night (plus tax), which includes a buffet breakfast with omelet station at the Holiday Inn across the street from the Fogelman. All rooms at Fogelman have one queen bed. Please call 901-678-5410 to book your room and ask for the special rate for St. James Church.
Registration costs for the synod are $75 per person. Our Thursday barbecue luncheon will be held at St. James and the evening banquet buffet will be at Fogelman. A cash bar will be available at the banquet. The cost for the banquet is $45 per person. Total cost for the synod including the banquet is $120 per person. All fees will be collected during check-in. We are not able to accept credit cards. Only cash or checks are acceptable. Checks must be made payable to St. James Church.
For planning purposes, everyone attending the synod and/or banquet must register in advance. Please use the following web-form to register: REGISTER NOW. Please have all registration information submitted by September 28, 2018. Using the online form helps ensure the transmission of the necessary and accurate information. You may register up to two different individuals on a single form. If you need to register more than two people, please submit multiple forms.

Directions to Fogelman Center:
October 24, Wednesday: Synod check-in, payment of fees, and hotel check-in beginning at 3 pm.
October 25, Thursday: Late registration at St. James Church beginning at 7:30 am. Service of Holy Communion, morning business sessions, luncheon, afternoon sessions, Evensong, followed by a banquet at Fogelman Center, 6:30pm.
October 26, Friday: Final business session followed by closing Eucharist. Noon dismissal.
